How do you know when you’re stressed?
As a mental health and wellbeing trainer, part of my work includes talking about ‘early earning signs’. It won’t surprise you to know that dreams – especially nightmares – can be a symptom that we’re going through a difficult time.
It’s why In Style magazine asked me a number of different questions about what stress-related dreams look like. You can take a look at the feature here.
The thing about stress is that it affects all of us differently. As I said in the feature, there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ cure, and what one person finds stressful, another person won’t.
But our dreams can provide valuable insight in to what’s really on our minds. Like dreaming about being naked. This seems to be a common dream for school age children, but also for anyone in the public eye, teachers and people feeling vulnerable about something they’ve shared.
So my top tip: have a think about the dreams you have when you’re struggling. You might find, within their content, there’s an important message to help you take positive steps. And, if you want to share your dream with me, here’s the page to find out more.
Why not sign up to Dreaming? You’ll get free access to the Information Hub, which contains a free guide on keeping a dreams diary, a great way to spot patterns and themes in your dreaming.
